Viewing store-and-forward details for one or more modules

Use the Store and Forward Details widget to view store-and-forward details for a group of service control points. You can also edit the number of listeners for a service control point and change the state to store or forward from the details panel.

Before you begin

The Store and Forward widget cannot be used to configure a store-and-forward qualifier for a component. Use IBM Integration Designer to configure store-and-forward processing.

About this task

To view store-and-forward properties using the Store and Forward Details widget, or to edit the number of listeners for a service control point, complete the following steps.
Note: The only editable property is Listeners. All other properties visible in the Store and Forward Details widget are read only. For more information about these read only properties, see the IBM Integration Designer information center.

Procedure

  1. Ensure you are logged into your business space and have the Store and Forward widget open.
  2. Optional: Select a module from the Show drop down menu. Depending on what you select from the Show drop down menu, rows representing the selected module will populate.
  3. To view the details for a service control point, select a row. The Store and Forward Details widget will populate with details from the selected service control point.
  4. To edit the number of listeners, type a value in the Listeners field in Store and Forward Details and Save. Listeners corresponds to the listener thread set up on the store-and-forward queue. By default, 3 listeners are set up. When changing the number of listeners, consider the IBM Business Process Manager thread pool size and the number of modules in the system with store-and-forward set up on it.
Note: The value typed for Listeners is not persisted. If the server is restarted, the configured number of listeners will go back to the default value (3).
  5. To change the state, select Store or Forward as required.
