Using Business Rules
With Business Rules, you can view and change business rules to influence the performance of your business.
Important: Changing parameter values in an active business
rule immediately changes the business processes that implement the
business rule. For example, if you have an active business rule that
gives preferred customers a 10% discount and you change the business
rule to a 20% discount, the increased discount goes into effect immediately.
Make sure that you understand the consequences of the change that
you are making.
In Business Rules, you can do the following actions:
- Set the values of parameters in if-then rules and then click Save.
- Return the values of the parameters to their original values by clicking Reset.
- Change the name and description of the business rule set.
