Send Widget

Send Widget is a temporary widget that creates a task that you can send to another person as a message.

Unlike other widgets, which remain on the page until someone removes them, Send Widget is temporary. Send Widget is only on the page until you click Submit, or switch to another page or space.

Send Widget has the following sections:
Form
Contains the attachments area and fields in which you assign the task to someone and provide information about the task. If you opened Send Widget by clicking Send Widget in another widget's menu, the attachments area contains that widget. The attached widget is a snapshot of the data that the widget contained when you clicked Send Widget. If you added Send Widget to the page by using the palette, the attachment area is empty.

Provides information about the task itself.
Notes
Where you can add notes about the task.

Using Send Widget

In Send Widget, you can create a task that contains other widgets as attachments:
  1. In the Form section, identify the person who is to own the task in the Assignee field. You can only assign one person to this task. You cannot assign a group or more than one person to it.
  2. Type information in the Subject and Message fields.
  3. To add a widget as an attachment, click Add and then select the widget from the list. Delete an attachment by selecting the widget you want to remove and then click Delete.
  4. Add any additional information in the Notes section.
  5. Click Submit. The widget closes.
