Administering mediation policies for services

Use the Mediation Policy Administration widget to work with mediation policies associated with target services. Using mediation policies, you can dynamically control service interactions, using contextual information.

Before you begin

If you want to work with mediation policies associated with target services, then create a business space that contains the administration widgets you need to view and administer services (for example, the Mediation Policy Administration, Service Browser, Module Browser, andModule Administration widgets).

About this task

Depending on whether your mediation policies are associated with modules or with target services, the Mediation Policy Administration widget interacts with different widgets.
  • If your mediation policies are associated with modules, the Mediation Policy Administration widget can interact with the Module Browser widget and the Module Administration widget.
  • If your mediation policies are associated with target services, the Mediation Policy Administration widget can interact with the Service Browser widget.

Procedure

Log in to your business space and navigate to the space that you created for administering services.

Results

The initial widget details are displayed.

The Service Browser widget lists the services defined on a particular instance of WebSphere® Service Registry and Repository (WSRR).

The contents of the Mediation Policy Administration widget depends on what you select in the Service Browser widget.
