Configuring Business Category Information

Use the Business Category Information configuration to specify the settings that are available for a business category.

Before you begin

You must be the page owner or an editor of the page to configure this widget. In addition, you must be in the BusinessCategoryAdministrator role.

Attention: To use this widget, Business Space must be configured to use the Business Process Choreographer REST services. If you are using Heritage Process Portal on an iPad, this widget is not supported.

About this task

You can use the custom text fields to add your own fields to the widget that you need to display in addition to the default fields. For these fields, you can define the name that is displayed (label), and a default value. You can mark a default value as fixed. Fixed values are displayed to the user but they cannot be changed.

Procedure

To configure this widget, open the widget menu and select Edit Settings. If the edit option is not available, you are not authorized to configure the widget.
Use the custom text fields to add your own fields to the widget. These fields are displayed in addition to the default fields. For the custom text fields, you can specify the following settings:
- A label for the field. The label is displayed as the name of the field in the widget.
- A default value for the field. You can mark this value as fixed. Fixed values are displayed to the user, but the user cannot change them.
