Creating work baskets in the Work Baskets widget

Use the Work Baskets widget to create work baskets in Business Space.

Before you begin

You must have access to a page in a Heritage Process Portal space that contains both the Work Baskets List and Work Basket Information widgets.

About this task

As a domain administrator you are responsible for defining work baskets and their distribution targets based on the needs of the line of business, and the available human resources that are defined in the corporate people directory.

Procedure

  1. Click Create from the Actions list. A new work basket opens in the Work Basket Information widget.
  2. Define the general settings for the work basket.
  3. Assign roles to the work basket and the tasks associated with it.
  4. Assign the distribution targets. Distribution targets are other work baskets to which tasks in the current work basket can be distributed.

Results

The work basket can now be leveraged by your enterprise applications.
