Replacing the Create Tasks widget with the Task Definitions widget

Configure the Task Definitions widget in your Heritage Process Portal space so that you can use it in place of the Create Tasks widget.

About this task

Perform the following steps for all pages in your Heritage Process Portal space that have deprecated widgets.

Procedure

  1. Check and capture your specific configuration options for the Create Tasks widget.
  2. If you have configured business category filters, define and deploy a query table with the corresponding filter.
  3. Check and capture in the Widget Wiring Editor any explicit wiring from and to the deprecated widget.
  4. Delete the deprecated widget from the page.
  5. Add the Task Definitions widget at the same position onto the page.
  6. Configure the widget to match the configuration of the deprecated widget.
  7. If you have configured business category filters, configure the task definition lists for the corresponding query tables.
  8. Configure the user interactions to create tasks, and services.
