Creating related tasks in the Task Information widget

While working on your task, you might need other people to perform tasks that are related to your current task before you can complete your work. You can create a task for someone else to initiate this work.

Procedure

  1. In the Related Tasks tab, select New.
  2. Enter the name of a task definition, or select one from the list and click OK.
    Tip: The list might contain task definitions with the same name. In this case, the name will also have version information appended to it. If you want to use one of these definitions for the related task, select the definition from the list instead of entering the name.
  3. Enter the required information, then click Submit.
    Attention: If you are using Business Space on an iPad, you cannot change attach documents to the task.
    The task is added to the list of related tasks in Task Information widget. The work on your task remains pending while the other people complete the work on the related tasks.
