Initiating Process Improvements template

The Initiating Process Improvements template creates a space for collaborating with others to improve a business process.

The Initiating Process Improvements template combines widgets from Business Process Manager and Business Monitor to create a space for users who want to examine a business process and determine whether there is a need to improve it. This template is available only if a Business Space administrator has imported it.

The Initiating Process Improvements template creates a space with the following pages: Create Tasks, Task Drill Down, KPIs, and Analysis. Many of the widgets on these pages require configuration. The person creating the space must edit their settings so that they display appropriate information. The descriptions for each page provide information for how you might configure each widget.

On the Create Tasks page, users create tasks for other people to perform and track their status. The following table lists the widgets in the Create Tasks page.

Create Tasks With appropriate configuration, it displays a list of task templates that users can use to create a task.
Task Information Displays the form used to create the task. The form depends on the template selecting in the Create Tasks widget. Although the widget displays only information about one task at a time, you can swap between tasks by selecting the tabs.
On the Task Drill Down page, users can review individual task instances. The following table lists the widgets in the Task Drill Down page.

Instances With appropriate configuration, it lists the task instances that are available for review.
Task Information Displays information about the tasks that the user selected in the Instances widget. Although the widget displays only information about one task at a time, you can swap between tasks by selecting the tabs.
On the KPIs page, users can configure the widgets to display information about the process that they are trying to improve. The following table lists the widgets in the KPIs page.

KPIs With appropriate configuration, it displays a graphic that dynamically shows the performance of a business process. The business process must have a monitor model that contains a defined KPI model.
Alerts Displays notifications for a business situation that a Business Monitor administrator has specified that the user will receive.
Diagrams With appropriate configuration, it displays the diagram for the business process.
On the Analysis page, users can configure the widgets to display predefined reports. The following table lists the widgets in the Analysis page.
