Personalizing widgets in spaces

You can personalize widgets in a space so that they display information in a way that you want to see it.

About this task

You can personalize a widget in two ways:

Implicitly by making a choice in the widget that affects how the widget displays its information.
Explicitly by selecting to personalize it and then making changes to its values.

To implicitly personalize a widget, change how the widget displays its information by selecting or changing something in it. For example, you select a different column in a table to sort the data or you drag the border of a widget to make it taller.
To explicitly personalize a widget:
1. Click the widget menu icon and then select Personalize. You can see the personalize settings for the widget.
2. Change the settings. Consult the widget help for the widget for information on its settings.
3. Click Save.

When you return to the page, the widget has the same look as it had when you left it.
