Hiding widgets in spaces
You can hide a widget so that it does not display on a page.
Before you begin
You must be the page owner or an editor of the page to hide a widget.
About this task
A hidden widget is fully functional but does not display on a page. Typically, you hide widgets such as the Script Adapter widget, which, instead of displaying business data, transforms the data so that another widget can use it.
A hidden widget is in hidden content area. When you are editing the page, you can open this area to see the widgets that it contains and edit the hidden widgets to change their settings and wire them to other widgets, for example.
Procedure
- Click Edit Page.
- Select the widget menu icon
and then select Hide. The
page no longer displays the widget. - Click Save to save your changes without leaving edit mode. Click Finish Editing after you have made your changes to the page.
