Making widget title bars and borders visible
If a widget in a space does not have a title bar or border, it has a skin that makes these features invisible. You can make title bar and border temporarily visible so that you can select the widget controls in the title bar.
About this task
The skin of a widget controls the look of its title bar and border. A skin, such as the No Border skin, can hide the title bar and border so that you cannot see them. You can temporarily make the title bar visible to select the widget menu without changing the skin of the widget. If you make the border visible, it will be easier for you to position the cursor while you change the size of the widget.
Procedure
- Hover over the widget.
- Click the
icon that has
become visible in the upper right corner of the widget. You can now see the title bar and border of the widget.
