Assessing task escalations

You can display a list of escalated tasks that you own in the Escalations List. You can view information about the escalations and also filter, order, and configure the list. You can also see which tasks are escalated to you and whether tasks that you own are escalated or whether you should escalate them immediately.

Before you begin

You must have access to a page in a Heritage Process Portal space that contains the following widgets:
  • Tasks
  • Escalations
  • Task Information

About this task

You can use the Tasks, Escalations, and Task Information widgets to assess the escalation state of tasks you initiated or own, or to assess tasks that are escalated to you as follows:
  • The Escalations widget displays all current escalations
  • The Task Information widget provides details about escalations for a particular task
  • The Tasks widget displays whether the task was escalated.

Assessing task escalations that you own

Procedure

  1. In the Tasks widget, select My Work and use the filter to search for all escalated tasks.
  2. Select the task to open it. Escalations that belong to the task are displayed in the Escalations widget. Alternatively you can open a task in the Task Information widget. In the Details section, you can see a list of all escalations for the task. If enabled, the task history shows the escalation events.

Assessing tasks escalated to you

Procedure

  1. In the Escalations widget, select the filter Manage escalated tasks.
  2. Select Open Task to open the selected task. The task opens in Task Information widget. In the Details section, you can see a list of all escalations for the task. If enabled, the task history shows the escalation events.
