Configuring the roles for work baskets in the Work Basket Information widget

You can configure the roles that are available to work basket administrators for assigning to work baskets and the tasks in a work basket.

Before you begin

You must be the page owner or an editor of the page to configure this widget. In addition, you must be in the WorkBasketSystemAdministrator role.

Procedure

  1. Open the widget menu and select Edit Settings to see the configuration tabs.
  2. On the Access tab, select the Resolve groups check box to specify how tasks that are assigned to a group are handled.

    If you select this check box, the group is resolved immediately and all the members of the group are assigned to a task. If you do not select the check box, the group is assigned to a task, and access is controlled by the group membership.

  3. Select the work basket roles and the task roles from the corresponding lists.
  4. Optional: Specify your own roles using the custom role fields.

    For example, if you have tasks that require legal approval, you might want to add a legal advisor role here. These roles do not affect the way the tasks and work baskets are processed, but they can be leveraged by your own enterprise applications.
