Notifications that you can expect in Heritage Process Portal

You can receive notifications directly in Heritage Process Portal when an action occurs that affects you and your work, for example, when a new task is assigned to you or your user group, or you are mentioned in a post on the process. You can use settings in your Heritage Process Portal preferences to control which notifications you see.

Attention: Depending on how Heritage Process Portal is set up, notifications might be partially or completely switched off. Notifications are not supported at all for Safari on iPad.
You can receive notifications directly in Heritage Process Portal in the following situations:
  • A new task is assigned to you or your user group.
  • You are mentioned in a post on a process that you are participating in.
  • You are invited to collaborate on a task (deprecated).
  • An activity in a process instance is updated.
Alternatively, you can choose to receive an email notification or an IBM Connections notification when you are assigned a new task. For IBM Connections notifications, you can claim tasks and complete work directly from the notification.

Regardless of your preferences settings, the @Mentions tab shows all the posts on the process that you were mentioned in and all your collaboration invitations.
