Configuring the Process Information widget

Use the Process Information configuration to specify the content that users of the widget see, the actions that they can take, and the panel that is shown when the widget is opened.

Before you begin

You must be the page owner or an editor of the page to configure this widget.
To enable users to go from a process instance, to the process information, and then the tasks associated with the process instance, wire the Process Information widget as follows:
  • Wire the Processes widget (com.ibm.widget.ActionRequested event) to the Process Information widget (com.ibm.widget.Open event)
  • Wire the Process Information widget (com.ibm.widget.TabChanged event) to the Tasks widget (com.ibm.widget.Filter event)
  • Wire the Tasks widget (com.ibm.widget.ActionRequested event) to the Process Information widget (com.ibm.widget.Open event)
  • Wire the Process Definition widget to the Process Information widget.
Without the wiring, the widgets cannot communicate. To wire the widgets, open the widget menu and select Edit Wiring. For information about wiring and how to wire, see the wiring topics in the space help, which is a link in the banner. You can use the following path in the help contents: Using spaces > Working with widgets > Wiring widgets in spaces.
